Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Services
Consult with families, listening to their unique needs, cultures, and preferences while providing green burial solutions aligned with green burial providers’ values.
Present eco-friendly service options using electronic presentations and in-person meetings, including green burial practices.
Escort families on cemetery tours to showcase green burial plots, explaining the environmental benefits of available options.
Lead Generation
Generate leads by networking, attending green funeral services, and obtaining referrals from satisfied families.
Conduct prospecting activities for at least 1–2 hours daily to identify new customers interested in pre-need planning.
Maintain and update leads in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), tracking activity levels .
Life Insurance License as required by state regulatory boards.
Collaboration & Teamwork
Partner with funeral directors, cemetery staff, and other team members to deliver seamless, high-quality service.
Communicate family needs and concerns to the team to ensure all aspects of service are aligned with expectations.
Represent the green burial providers in community and civic organizations, promoting green burial practices and generating awareness.
Professional Development
Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations concerning funeral services and green burial practices.
Complete Green Burial and Life certifications and training programs within 6 months of hire.
Pursue ongoing education in the green funeral industry, including attending workshops and obtaining relevant certifications.
